Odour Control Units

In 2002, Purafil awarded The Newell Group a contract for the supply and installation of a one tonne chlorine Emergency Gas Scrubber (EGS) system at Silvan Dam in Victoria, Australia (shown below).

In 2003 Purafil awarded The Newell Group another project for a Chlorine DeGasser unit and ducting. The work involved the supply and installation of one tonne Emergency Gas Scrubber (EGS) system at Winnecke Water Treatment Plant in Victoria, Australia (shown below.

In 2004, Purafil USA awarded Newell Hua Dong International (NHDI) a huge contract to produce Environmental Odour Control Equipment. This was the largest contract ever let by the Hong Kong Government.
Construction began in NHDI's Johor Bahru factory in May 2004 with a final delivery date of November 2004 to Hong Kong for 45 EGS Odour Control style units. This project was completed on time with a TNG team assisting. Further orders were received for delivery to Korea and Thailand.
